@CadoudalChouan @daveatherton This is another example of how freedom of speech works. Someone insults you, you have the right to protest. Also, just FYI- I LIVE here, this IS MY country so thanks for your opinion but you’re quite a few years TOO LATE

@maunder_richard @daveatherton I don’t understand your question but if a Muslim had done something disrespectful towards any other religion in an educational institute and upset/hurt individuals, I wouldn’t be complaining why people are protesting or wanting them to leave that country.

My right to my FEELINGS whether I feel upset/offended/happy etc is a personal thing NOT dictated by law.The law can’t say I (at personal) capacity can’t b upset ovr somethng.Thats the point I’m trying to put across

@AlfieBywater Teacher is living in fear bcz of spreadin hate on religious basis.idk if u’r aware last tym cartoons were used weren’t in a + context.the amount of bullying I’v faced as a Muslim isn’t published anywhere.i also live in constant fear of being targeted bt I wont ask U to justify

@AlfieBywater Police attend every protest, I haven’t come across one protest where police didn’t attend. Also, police came for a reaction CAUSED by a teacher’s action. It’s not something plucked out of thin air.

@BlueMouth4 I would’ve said “our” democracy had I felt I wasn’t being targeted in the initial tweet. In democracy I live in, I deserve to be treated with respect regardless of my views, clearly me and the person whose tweet I responded to don’t live in the same democratic state
