I asked my brother to quit his job & escort me abroad for my PhD. He turned to Imam Eurus, who ruled that Emirates employs pilots, not mahrams & I possess the remarkable ability to locate Gate 27 without his supervision. She told him to keep his job
Imam Eurus > Sheikh Twat
38k likes for saying a Muslim woman is “socially regressive” because she chose not to touch a man. Weird how consent, personal boundaries, and bodily autonomy suddenly become controversial when they’re rooted in Islam.
As a brown Muslim woman living in the UK: sit tf down, clown!
Mosques are places of worship, community and charity, not martial arts training camps 🤦🏽♀️
Every Muslim living in the UK must learn how to defend themselves - men, women and children.
There is a clear campaign to intimidate Muslims here which is happening in politics, media and in the street.
So-called patriots are now following Muslims around in the streets and in parks trying to provoke incidents.
Every mosque and community centre must provide martial arts training so we can protect ourselves.
We must become the fittest, strongest and most street wise community in the UK. We are under threat so we have no choice but to face that threat.
No more letting ourselves be intimidated by thugs, they should know that taking on a Muslim will not be a easy thing to do.
Yes, we deserve to be safe. And yes, everyone has the right to defend themselves if attacked. But turning every mosque into a martial arts centre and talking like we're preparing for street battles is exactly the sort of inflammatory nonsense that feeds anti-Islam hysteria
When Two Journeys Cross
On Ashura, a solemn procession moved through the streets of Australia in remembrance, reflection, and faith. At that very moment, a bride and groom walked across its path, celebrating the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
For a brief instant, mourning and joy shared the same space. No one interrupted the other. There was respect, patience, and understanding.
This photograph is not just about two events meeting—it is about the kind of society that makes such a moment possible. A society where people of different beliefs, traditions, and celebrations can coexist peacefully, each free to practise their faith and live according to their values.
Sometimes, a single frame tells a story far greater than words: that diversity is strongest when it is met with mutual respect.
@zoemalyks_chai Also, you said you find out that you're a witch. How did you find out that you're a witch. Am I right to assume that you believe that magic = self control/mastery. You don't believe that you can manipulate anyone else's free will, just your own behaviour?
Interesting.
Fam, what does the Qur'an say about witchcraft that's framed as "working with energies" while invoking Allah? Because "auric fields" and "energy siphoning" aren't exactly Qur'anic concepts.
It's insane how learning that I'm a witch actually made me a better Muslim because I know that if I don't pray I don't nourish my auric field and if I go out dressed scantily, random creeps can siphon my energy. One of my witch friends actually even covers her face-
@zoemalyks_chai I'm familiar with non-theistic witchcraft. I never asked you about worshipping any deities.
Witchcraft is manipulation of energy. How is that not sihr? I would really appreciate some Islamic reference.
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan was created as a homeland for Muslims.
Israel was created as a homeland for the Jewish people.
Both emerged from the end of British rule.
Both were recognized internationally.
Both were born amid massive refugee crises.
So why is one widely accepted while the legitimacy of the other is still questioned?

The educated segment of Pakistani society has long embraced the Indus Valley Civilization; it was only an extreme right-wing faction that insisted Pakistan lacked a connection to Harappa and Mohenjo-daro, arguing instead for a narrower, exclusive identity based only on Religion. It is deeply encouraging to see Pakistan moving toward a more inclusive approach, where national identity is defined not solely by religion, but also by our rich cultural, ethical, and historical foundations. This shift is essential for fostering a pluralistic society. In the other hand, it is concerning to see India moving away from the secular ideals of Nehru and Gandhi, increasingly adopting extremist ideologies that threaten the diversity which has historically defined the Subcontinent.

@zoemalyks_chai Pardon my ignorance, this is a genuine question. I'm aware of eclectic & chaos practices that don't require deity worship & even work with fictional characters like Superman. Is there any similar Islamic tradition where sihr/occult knowledge isn't a sin and Allah doesn't mind it?
