Dambu Hydroelectric Power Project or Dambu Gate in Tripura, India has been opened due to heavy rains in Tripura resulting in flooding. They have opened Dombu's gate which was last opened in 1993 to reduce the water. Don't expect flood waters to recede. Feni, Comilla, Noakhali districts are likely to be flooded as a result of opening the gate.
