Her name is Parnian. Parnian Dabiri Abkenari, 16 years old, was a second-year student in interior architecture. A doctor was arrested for helping 200 injured protesters.

Dr. Gholamreza Amraei, a brain and spine surgeon in Hamadan, treated and operated on around 200 injured protesters inside his own home.

For saving lives, he was arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and remains detained.

Iranian doctors are being arrested and some are even threatened with execution for treating those in #IranMassacre.

The goal is fear, to deter doctors from doing what they exist to do - help people.

BREAKING | Iran

Information received by Iran International indicates that Mohammad Hossein Hosseini, a 32-year-old footballer from Mashhad and former political prisoner, is facing charges that could lead to the death penalty.

He was arrested at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, after security forces raided his home in Mashhad.

In a call from Vakilabad Prison, Hosseini said he was informed today that his court session will be held soon, without being allowed legal counsel.

According to Hosseini, the charges include “moharebeh” (enmity against God), assembly and collusion, cultural propaganda against the regime, damage to public property, and alleged leadership of protests—raising serious concerns about a possible heavy sentence, including execution.

Hosseini, who played in the youth teams of Persepolis and Sepahan, has been arrested six times since 2022.

His previous arrest was linked to the seventh memorial ceremony of Khosrow Ali Kordi, a lawyer and human rights activist.

He was an innocent child, pure and unscarred, who never could have imagined the bottomless depths of this regime’s crimes and horrors.
