To enjoy the park earlier or later, additional day-use parking is available at the campground's Peak Trail trailhead, sunrise-sunset. Enter at 170th St E and Ave K.

The Saddleback Butte State Park campground, day use area, visitor center, hiking trails, and RV dump station will be closed to the public for routine maintenance from Saturday, May 15th through Friday, May 20th, and will reopen on May 21st.
