Final: Old Rochester 58 Bishop Stang 22
January 8, 2026. Old Rochester dominated on both ends of the floor to defeat Bishop Stang 58-22. Sophomore standout Sadie Hartley-Matteson led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 13 points. Sadie Hartley-Matteson a 5’11” forward has scored in double digits in 5 out 7 games so far this season, averaging 14 points a game and has led the team in scoring in all 7 games this season.

Emma Johnson and Maddie Hardy also shined for Old Rochester, netting 12 points each. 10 different players scored for the Lady Bulldogs.

Old Rochester (6-1) plays next against Greater New Bedford RVT (3-3) at Old Rochester High School on Friday January 9, 2025, at 6:30 pm.

Old Rochester star of the game Sadie Hartley - Matteson who led all scorers with 20 points in the game also contributed to an unusual assignment in the game when the ball got stuck between the rim/frame/backboard Sadie jumped up to the net, pulled herself up climbing to clear the ball free.
