Apply for the invitation letter.

Here is how to check.

Step 1. Go to https://t.co/mfgRCyvNnq and click on “Check for Unclaimed Dividends” under the Investors section. Type in your name. If you have unclaimed dividends with any company, they will show up there.

Step 2. Check your CSCS account. If you do not have online access, visit https://t.co/nbjrO8U0CK and register for the online portfolio view. You will need your CHN (Clearing House Number). If you do not know your CHN, contact any SEC-licensed stockbroker or visit a CSCS office with a valid ID and they will do a global search of all shares in your name.

Step 3. Once you find your shares, set up an e-dividend mandate so future dividends go straight to your bank account. You can do this through your bank, your stockbroker or the company’s registrar.

Step 4. To claim what is already owed to you, contact the registrar of each company whose dividends are unclaimed. They will verify your identity and process the payment.

Common registrars on the NGX are Africa Prudential, Cardinalstone Registrars, Coronation Registrars and First Registrars. Each company uses a specific one.
Start with the SEC website. That is the fastest way to know if money is waiting for you.
