Ya Rahman, Ya Rahim, You see them where we cannot see. You know what they are going through. Protect them from harm, fear, pain, and despair.

Fill their hearts with strength and patience. Be their light in darkness and their comfort in loneliness.

Ya Allah, create a way for their release. Return them safely to their families, without injury and without trauma.

Just as You reunited Yusuf with his family, reunite them with theirs in peace and joy.

Every day, fresh reports pour in: dozens killed in Zamfara, mass abductions in Kebbi and Sokoto, communities fleeing on foot in Bauchi from feared bandit attacks, passengers ambushed in Kogi, and the list grows even during Ramadan. Lives lost, families torn apart, farmers unable to tend fields, schools shut, businesses crippled this is no longer just "insecurity," it's a full-blown humanitarian and national emergency.

Banditry, kidnappings for ransom, jihadist raids, and violent criminal gangs have turned our northern communities into war zones. Over the past weeks alone, hundreds have been murdered or abducted. The Northwest and Northcentral regions suffer the most, with millions facing acute food insecurity worsened by this violence. How many more graves must we dig? How many more children must disappear before we say enough

The Federal Government must act decisively NOW:

- Deploy overwhelming, intelligence-led security operations to flush out these terrorists and bandits from our forests and villages.
- End the cycle of ransom payments that only funds more terror.
- Provide real protection for vulnerable rural communities, schools, and highways.
- Address root causes urgently: poverty, illegal mining funding these groups, and lack of development that breeds despair.

This is not a Northern problem alone it threatens the unity, economy, and future of the entire nation. Lives and property are the constitutional duty of the government to protect. Failure here is failure everywhere.

We call on President Tinubu,@officialABAT, security chiefs, and all leaders: End the bloodshed in the North. Restore peace.
