The EC has stated that the voter lists across various states on the basis of which the GENERAL ELECTIONS were held barely a year ago in 2024 are FAULTY and riddled with IRREGULARITIES.
If that is indeed the case, and if the GoI agrees with the EC’s assessment, then the first step towards conducting a genuine SIR and STANDING ON MORAL HIGH GROUND is the
IMMEDIATE DISSOLUTION OF LOK SABHA. If one truly supports the idea of SIR, then as per the EC’s own statement - THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY HAVE BEEN BETRAYED.
Also, If the new CEC is truly as competent as claimed, then the SIR should be implemented across the country, not selectively in poll-bound states.
@ECISVEEP AAP CHRONOLOGY SAMAJ LIJIYE:
1️⃣ Dissolve the House!
2️⃣ Conduct SIR across the country!
3️⃣ Go for elections and face the people!
In 2020, the world faced an unprecedented pandemic outbreak that left a trail of death and destruction. Along the way, it taught us a very important lesson: "A stitch in time saves nine!"
With initiatives like 'Doctors on Wheels,' 'Vaccination on Wheels,' and the 'Rapid Antigen Testing Drive,' Diamond Harbour has cemented its reputation as a MODEL CONSTITUENCY for healthcare service delivery. These efforts also provided an opportunity to reach the grassroot levels and deliver medical services to the LAST MILE, and we’ve successfully done just that!
For the first time since the launch of #Sebaashray, the footfall at the 41 health camps across the Diamond Harbour Assembly Constituency has surpassed the 20,000 mark, benefitting 22,907 people. Among them:
🔬 9,895 diagnostic tests were conducted
💊 9,416 individuals received free medications
🏥 337 patients were referred to specialty hospitals for critical care
A new chapter is being written on how a single parliamentary constituency can lead a healthcare revolution. More success and greater milestones are on the horizon!
Glad to note that the first and the second positions in the UPSC-conducted prestigious Indian Statistical Service examination this year have been won over by two boys from Bengal. While I congratulate the two successful winners, Sinchan and Biltu, I note that our emphasis on encouraging our children for all-India competitive examinations has been yielding concrete results.
Our students are showing improved performances in IAS and IPS examinations, too. The Satyendranath Tagore Civil Services Study Centre of the State Government has already become a centre of attraction for young and ambitious students who want highly subsidised top-grade support for these examinations. They will lead Indian bureaucracy again!
@Sujan_Speak সুজন বাবু?
Our sustained efforts appear to be paying dividends – the Central Government looks like being further pressurised towards finally succumbing to our demands to withdraw/ modify the unjust 18% GST on health and life insurance products/policies.
I had personally written to the Union Finance Minister (see the letter below), warning how their decision to keep 18% GST on health and medical insurances would deter vulnerable individuals from securing or maintaining their insurance coverage.
Now, the reported rollback move suggested by the Group of Ministers of the GST Council today is significant, though it is not coming out of goodwill. It is coming because of the relentless pressure from our side. Our leaders have stood firm against anti-people policies that would harm the common people. Our MPs have been fighting, and our Finance Minister fought very well in the Group of Ministers today.
The final decision of GST Council, if it finally relents, will bring much-needed relief to millions of families across the country. We remain committed to putting the people's interests at the forefront of every decision.
We, however, anxiously wait to see the final shape and conditions of the eventual decision of GST Council and we remain sentinels of people!
Saddened by the demise of Bharat Dev Varma, the husband of filmstar Moon Moon Sen, and himself a great well-wisher of mine.
He was indeed very loving and affectionate to me and I shall always treasure his memories. He truly considered me as part of his family and his demise is a great loss for me.
After getting the news today morning, I visited their Ballygunge residence, where their daughter Riya was present. Moon Moon and Raima are coming from Delhi. I paid my respect to the departed and condolences to the family.
If we let this BJP govt turn a blind eye & let Manipur burn yet again then each of us, every Indian has blood on their hands. PM & HM continue to campaign, mainstream media too busy brown nosing, judiciary not taking suo moto cognisance. Is Manipur not part of our Union?
I am devastated by the tragic incident at Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College in Jhansi, where ten newborns lost their lives in a fire in the NICU.
We stand in solidarity with the affected families and demand accountability and immediate action to prevent such horrific accidents in the future.
