Story starters can be used as quick writing prompts. Also consider how visuals can be used as writing prompts. Pobble 365 has great images and the Literacy Shed has some fantastic videos. Students could write short stories based on a book cover prior to reading.

Today in #EDFD462 we discussed the different ways we can communicate with parents. There are so many different ways that we can communicate with parents. I hope to be able to implement some of these on my final placement and in future teaching #acuedu_p

Determining how to use wall space is part of setting up a classroom. @edutopia recommend displaying student work over student data and ensuring that there is room between displays to avoid a cluttered look and feel. We want our walls to inspire student learning.

I might try this with year 2 on prac. I think I would make the different notes specific to the learning intention or success criteria though.
