@ElderAce007@wyebwead social media has gotten to a point where we're infantilising adults, and making age gaps like this "weird"
like come on, treating grown adults as children in need of protection is flat out offensive
(obviously some cases are weird, but yea)
@n3c1k@CLTetudo well you could at least do an initial calculation only, and used cached results after, better a single brief recalc per smoke than constant 64 sim/s raytraces, unless you're already doing this and i'm mistaken
@n3c1k@CLTetudo u probably don't need 64 sims/s to achieve the same effect, a few ideas i thought up (no clue if you already do them, or if my ideas will even work, haven't touched counterstrike since go as a cheat dev)
lmk if you're already doing any of these or if my ideas are garbage!
@n3c1k@CLTetudo and this last one i'm not certain on because i'm making an assumption about the new smokes, they appear to have a static voxel occupancy, if this is the case you could just cache the occupied grid cells, but again this is just based on my assumption of how the smokes work
@n3c1k@CLTetudo and if you're not already early exit raymarching is also a clean way of cutting down on some raytraces, no need to march 128x128x128 voxel grid for candidate paths which collide with a wall 2 meters from the player
@PPeepeecheck@IsEltyr@AlanTheTeemo send DMs and such, no passwords or accounts are actually stolen, they're solely compromised via this malicious software hijacking the session
as such, removing the software will prevent this, and the easiest way to achieve this is just reformatting your pc
@PPeepeecheck@IsEltyr@AlanTheTeemo it's not actually "hacking", it's a discord session stealer, a malicious program has been installed on this person's pc, it can consistently get the logged in discord account's session ID and whatnot, which can then be used to spread the malware by using the user's session to
@goobcevar@m4dz11666 this is very new though, only the recent revisions of the DSM have changed the diagnostic criteria to allow for minors to be diagnosed in severe, pervasive cases
@goobcevar@m4dz11666 it's kinda convoluted, while you can actually be diagnosed under the age of 18 if it's considered pervasive and consistent, excluding antisocial personality disorder
but, recieving treatment for traits of a personality disorder can occur regardless of a diagnosis :)
@RonaldRamo48241@Insomni63358406@NotWokeOnPurpo1@anarchoboognish it's a perfectly valid comparison?? Stephen hawking is a perfect example that someone with cerebral palsy isn't mentally disabled, pedophile or not, that wasn't a part of the equation, are the things Stephen did horrible? absolutely, but why does that even factor in here
