The explanation given by these refs are just as incompetent as their decisions on field…Liverpool would have won the title that season had City drop points in that game….They’re corrupt the lot of them #115
Jamie Carragher:
“I look back at that Jurgen Klopp team. His team missed out on winning the league and being invincible. The only game they lost was to Man City. We talk about Arsenal and invincible but Liverpool were one game away from that. When you think of that time, City had the edge on Liverpool because they had more players. Liverpool basically had the same starting eleven every week. The front three was the same and everyone knew the team but City had an extra 3-4 players who could get them over the line.”

On 30 September 2000, the world watched as Jamal al-Durrah tried to shield his 12 year old son, Muhammad, from Israeli occupation forces. Muhammad al-Durrah was killed that day, a child whose final moments, caught on camera, became one of the most searing images of the Second Intifada and of Palestinian history.
For Palestinians, this is not just footage preserved in history. It is a wound carried across generations. We recognize Jamal’s outstretched arm because it is every parent’s instinct, to shield, to sacrifice, to stand between their child and harm. We remember Muhammad not as an image, but as a boy with a name, a family, and a future that was stolen. His killing was not something we merely saw; it was something we absorbed, something that settled into our collective memory and never left.
I’ve been joking around this Manchester City cheating verdict but on a serious note I’m absolutely fuming.
I’ve been cheated from witnessing the best team I’ve ever seen dominate the Premier League (fairly).
Klopp built a winning machine and was always second best, only for it to materialise that it’s second best because of cheating.
Yes we might get awarded those league titles but it won’t be the same as winning it in the right way, in that moment!
I might not see a team that good again in my life time, so I’ve literally been cheated of my best ever football memories.
That team had world class players and a world class manager and played amazing football and broke loads of records including having 7 players nominated for the Ballon D'or.
This is why the Premier League will have to come down hard on them, football lovers all over the world have been cheated.
Jürgen Klopp between 2018-2022:
- 97, 99, 92 points
- 106/108 points from March 2019-Feb 2020
- 3 Champions League finals
- Won EVERY trophy available
- Competed against 114 FC in their PEAK
ALL WITHOUT CHEATING. #LFC
IT’S OFFICIAL: The @premierleague confirms Manchester City are the biggest cheats in British football history.
Punishment must hurt:
Relegate them, strip them of their fraudulently won titles + dock them 25pts for first 5 seasons if/when they get back in the Premier League.
