Deeply privileged to be present at the high-level roundtable chaired by PM Sh @narendramodi Ji with 27 CEOs and senior corporate dignitaries representing leading global and Indian energy companies and institutions in New Delhi during the ongoing India Energy Week 2026.
This is the 9th edition of the interaction. The feedback from these interactions provides important inputs used in our policymaking.

PM Modi Ji observed that India stands ready as a reliable and trusted partner across the entire energy value chain even as the global energy landscape is marked by uncertainty. We import our energy from 40 sources and LNG from 18 sources; and export petroleum products to more than 150 nations.

PM Modi Ji also drew attention of the participants to significant investment opportunities in India’s rapidly evolving and expanding energy sector.
With regulatory reforms such as ORDA, & PNG Rules alongwith expanded bidding opportunities in OALP-X, Special CBM Rounds, DSF-IV, fiscal & commercial incentives and improved data access & risk reduction India offers significant offshore & onshore potential of $100 Billion.

Energised by ‘One Vision One Grid’ vision towards 15% gas mix, 100% CGD network etc, the gas value chain offers 72 Billion opportunity.
India, which is the world’s 4th largest refiner also offers a 87 Billion opportunity in refining and petrochem; and with India accelerating the adoption of alternative fuels, the initiative offers a 100 Billion opportunity.

The CEOs conveyed their admiration for India’s reforms and strong economic growth, & expressed excitement about participating in India Growth Story. They also expressed their keen interest in expanding and deepening their business presence in India, as a result of policy stability, reform momentum, and long-term demand visibility and India’s decisive role in the global energy demand-supply balance.
