@mikegapinski@DBurkland I really wanna figure out how to code the tilt screen retrofit for the 2021 plaid, does your process help with that seeing that toolbox can’t anymore?
Huge regression with the spring update. It’s worse than it was last time the car was afraid to drive in New England. It was doing ok before whatever changed in this model.
@Tesla@aelluswamy@elonmusk the new HW3 FSD build is trying to swerve over double yellow lines to avoid small puddles on rainy days and on sunny days it’s constantly trying to avoid shadows with abrupt stops and swerves. The only time it drives ok now is on overcast dry days.
@niccruzpatane Unfortunately both our Model S Plaid and Model Y OG are now suddenly pumping the breaks harshly at shadows across the road from telephone poles and trees. Must think they are speed bumps or something more urgent. Ugh! Last drive did it 5 times!
@GregoryMcFadden@SauRoN_ZA My best guess is the internals always had usb-2 capabilities for some of the internal components of a phone that are not needed on the computer so they just repurposed what is there and said “why not it will be useful”
@GregoryMcFadden What’s interesting is they didn’t use the same thing they have on the thunderbolt port on the new Studio Display with a dot next to the “primary” port. They could have just put a dot on the left of the usb 3 one and called it a day.
@niccruzpatane@Tesla It’s really a shame the Grok voice isn’t the nav voice now. It really is a stark contrast between the two. Could have been such a cool way to complete the Nav integration and give the car a single quality voice.
@gregjoz Don’t suggest this half baked thing to slow down lines over the holidays. This was embarrassing to try to use last Friday on the way home from SJC - failed twice and then I finally just dug out my Real ID while folks behind me were wondering why I was holding up the line.
@NotATeslaApp @MaryX75D Refresh S and X have never had FSD display in the center console display (which is wrong we should be able to put it there for the comfort and entertainment of others in the car) it is instead in the drivers console screen. I suspect this is the crux of the problem.
@jk_rowling The irony is you present yourself as the victim of “petrol on the flames” while continuing to pour petrol yourself — then bristle at accountability. Thin skin and vast influence is a dangerous combination.

@jk_rowling You’re not being “critiqued” because Emma or others owe you loyalty. You’re being critiqued because your words and actions have harmed trans people and other under-represented communities.

@TeslaAndroid It doesn’t seem to render anything in my 2022 Model S in the US market. I’m pretty sure we can’t use h264 while in drive although it doesn’t seem to work in park either for me. Could just be a bug :-)
@elonmusk HW3 FSD is scared of powerline shadows and small puddles on the road. It pumps the breaks constantly and sometimes dangerously sweets around them across double yellow lines! Can we get this addressed please?
@DBurkland This is the stupidest bug. Who launches voice assistant with a bug the makes it so you can’t hear it by default? The fact Tesla shipped this in this form broadly to cars like mine tells you all you need to know about their quality control. It’s embarrassing.
