The Ubuntu leadership Safari series is a virtuous leadership program that accelerates participants’ growth as aware, purposeful and empowered leaders #5amClub
A recovery run last evening and a grind in the gym this morning. Comrades is in under 40 days, so it's not the time to drop momentum. I also bumped into @iDEASUG of @SafariUbuntu. Let's attack the day.
5years and 3month of community transformation. We have learnt, relearned, built resilience, made friends, gotten wisdom what can I say.
And now a new chapter begins. So excited what our patrons are cooking. I missed the personal engagements and can atest it was a game changer
@Comrade_Otoa If your goals and values no longer align with your vision then it’s time to let go. It comes with the understanding that you are self-aware enough to let go of what no longer fits in your life goals @SafariUbuntu
@SafariUbuntu letting go doesn’t mean you don’t care, it’s a conscious decision to stand up and say, this no longer serves me. It’s a moment of reclaiming your power by remember who you are.
#StandOnYourOwn
1. Be assertive and set boundaries:
Use the "I" statement to express your specific needs, energy and boundaries. Learn to say "No".
2. Cultivate self-reliance:
Stop looking for external validation for every choice.

5. Self-care: This doesn't have to depend on others. Find what works for you. Don't copy and paste.
6. Financial independence: Make sure you work on this, have your emergency fund. This gives you opportunities to stand on your own.
