It's #RoadSafetyWeek!
Millions across the UK are raising awareness for road safety and joining in a national conversation about speed.
On average, 5 people die on UK roads every day. Whoever you are and however you travel, we need to talk about speed.

Today, Kate was in Middleton to watch Safe Drive Stay Alive - a road safety initiative in its 10th year of delivery in Greater Manchester.
@SafeDriveGM educates young people on the dangers of driving through the real-life testimonies of emergency service workers and family members who have lost loved ones in road traffic collisions.
🗣 "I think anyone listening to those family members speaking today would think twice about their own driving."
@DeputyMayorofGM Kate Green was also in the audience today and spoke about the importance of @SafeDriveGM and the impact it is having on young people across Greater Manchester.
🚗 Today, we've been at @Middleton_Arena for the latest of our Safe Drive Stay Alive performances.
500 young people from schools and colleges across Greater Manchester came to learn about the dangers of driving and listen to our emergency services, and family members who have lost loved ones in road traffic collisions, talk about their real-life experiences.
