@GovKathyHochul Here are a few of her remarks: "The Access to Representation Act offers the chance for New York legal service providers to help more children and families by guaranteeing access to legal counsel in deportation proceedings. It’s a matter of due process.
Their name comes from their town, but for the migrants, who grab potentially life-saving food and water from women they will in all likelihood never see again, “patron saint”.

We are excited to announce the 8th Annual New York Asylum & Immigration Conference is convening on Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11, 2023 in-person and via Zoom. There are scholarships available and law students may attend without charge. Registration is required.
On Friday, February 10th, there are two tracks: beginner and advanced, and attendees may receive up to 8 hours of CLE Credit. On Saturday, February 11th, there is one track and up to 5.5 hours of CLE Credit are possible. All CLE is NY State.
