🚨🙀Never a dull day in cyber. Microsoft zero-day for Outlook is currently being exploited, and seems like a nasty one - especially for people working from home, not behind an enterprise firewall blocking TCB 445.

I just wrote a small post on why I think that it's a bad idea for hackers around to just go hack Russia.

but at the same time we all know and feel that something has to happen to make SMEs more #cyberaware, #cyberresilient and #trusted. Legislation and enforcement? Cyber requirements to obtain funding or loans? A label indicating cyber maturity? Cyber to be part of annual reports?
So I wonder: how bad is the #UkraineRussiaWar going to become in terms of cyber. And, is this going to be a defining moment for people, companies and governments using digital technology? Will this be their #fukushima moment of insight and action? I hope it won't get that bad.
So we pitch #cyberawareness by the value proposition of privacy and cybersecurity: that's trust and resilience. Still then, people don't get it. Apathic about cyber. Meanwhile cyberattacks are becoming a mass weapon of disruption and destruction. But SME's think they are immune.
<rant> I'm frustrated: if you run a workshop on social selling, hundreds show up. If you run a #cybersecurity workshop, the same 5 people always show up of mature companies. Totally not reaching SME's. Seems they couldn't care less about cyber.
Hey #cybersecurity friends, do your top executives and board members still consider #cyber as just a technical nuisance? Or as a business issue? If you want, you can join my free webinar of @Agorianl#Acumen on how to get buy-in from board and top management about cybersecurity.
