Between May 14 and May 21, global gold prices corrected heavily. Let's look at the delayed Thursday cutoff (May 21) for the next week's report:

May 21 PM LBMA Price: USD 4,505.25 per oz.

The 90% Valuation Rule: USD 4,054.725 per oz.

Calculation: USD 4,054.725 × 28,309,375 = USD 114.78 Billion.

This math perfectly explains the USD 4.5 billion fall in the value of the central bank's gold holdings week-on-week.
