One income. One person. Every bill. Every responsibility.
Then you're told it's because you buy too many coffees or don't budget properly.
At some point we need to admit the maths just doesn't work for a lot of people.
We CANNOT even afford hobbies. We CANNOT afford to go out with friends. We CANNOT afford to exist anywhere outside our homes. They then call it a mental health crisis. It's not. It's an affordability crisis.
The UK has normalised being broke while working full time. You do everything right, show up, work hard, stay consisten and still end up with no money left 2 weeks after payday.
Women are out here sharing live locations, checking the backseats of cars, and holding their hands over their drinks. Men are doing 3 hour podcasts about how unfair it is that we don't smile at them. The disconnect is fatal.
