@KarineHains@TheHockeyNews Good luck! The Blues would be fools to trade Robert Thomas. They have no replacement ready to take his place and I don’t believe they are planning to go into a full rebuild this offseason.
@NHLRumourReport He was never asked to waive. The discussions may have been one sided with the Blues listening. The hype on him being traded was generated by the media. He is young enough to fit with the Blues young upcoming core players.
@DarrenDreger Good move for Buffalo. Parayko will help them. He can play big minutes on the right side and it keeps Buffalo from having to play a lefty in their top 4. He was awesome in the cup run in 2019. He match well with Dahlin or Byram.
@DobberHockey@Bluesorlose@goc970 The Blues will keep Thomas if they don't get what they think he is worth. Helinius if he reaches Thomas's level won't get there for another 3 years minimum. It takes time for these guys to mature which is why Thomas fits Buffalo's timeline to contend better than Helinius.
@CamboSoop@DarrenDreger He plays the toughest deployment in the league, is a good faceoff guy and put up point per game plus production. He would be a 1B on a contender with a top 10 center.
@SpidermanVennom@NHL_Muse@J_Swish24 They aren’t asking anything. They are listening to offers and telling teams what it would take to acquire him. They don’t need to trade him and probably shouldn’t.
@icebergslim47@puckempire@J_Swish24 It would definitely be worth it. I would expect Faulk to be added if that was the package from Buffalo. Buffalo would get past the 2nd round with Thomas.
@WHfromWH24@puckempire@J_Swish24 Delusional. Buffalos not getting him if Helenius plus a lot extra is coming back. Thomas plays the toughest deployment in the league. The Blues shouldn’t be trading him. If Buffalo gets him you will be very happy. If he goes there I hope you go far in the playoffs!
@NHLRumourReport There is no way they should be trading Thomas anyway. Kyrou shouldn’t be traded for Pennie’s on the dollar either. I’m sure he will come down on Faulk some.
@ridlygreig71@NHLRumourReport Blues aren’t trading him at his lowest value. 30+ goals the three previous years. His production will pick back up. People who think they are going to get him for scraps are dreaming.
