🚨Breaking.
Carmelo Anthony was just sentenced to 35 years.
Now before everybody starts calling each other racist and before social media turns this into another black-versus-white circus, I have a question.
What if it was your son?
Not somebody else’s son.
Your son.
Your grandson.
Your nephew.
Would you still be standing outside with signs?
Would you still be posting hashtags?
Would you still be raising money for the person convicted of stabbing him?
Because that’s the part I cannot understand.
A family buried their child.
A jury heard the evidence.
A judge handed down 35 years.
And somehow half the country is talking about race instead of the victim.
So … I have questions.
I want to know how a person reportedly connected to hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations ends up with a public defender.
I want to know how the jury was selected.
I want to know why people seem more upset about the sentence than they are about the young man who never got to go home.
Most of all, I want to know why every tragedy in America gets immediately sorted into racial teams.
Because if justice only matters when the person looks like us, then it was never justice we were after in the first place.
Let’s talk about it.

On May 1st, Viviana aka “Vivi” joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love. 💕
She is perfect and healthy, and her big brother is joyfully adjusting to life with his new baby sister. We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble.
Thank you to everyone who reached out with prayers during my pregnancy - I truly felt them throughout the entire experience. God is Good.🙏
A photograph from the Oklahoma City Thunder championship parade represents the story of the city so much, it literally hangs in a museum.

"I don't give a damn if LeBron James got in a hyperbaric chamber and added 10 years to his damn life. They ain't beating Oklahoma City! It's a wrap!"

BREAKING: FedEx driver who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering 7-year-old Athena Strand, has been sentenced to death.
Tanner Horner snatched Athena while he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas.
At one point during the trial, jurors broke down in tears while hearing audio of Horner killing Athena after he told her to take off her shirt and said she was "really pretty."
Athena repeatedly asked for her mother before she was killed.
"Horner is then heard asking Athena to remove her shirt, and there are several moments when she says "no" and asks for her mom. That was followed by repeated sounds of crying, screaming and banging," NBC reported last month.
Following three hours of deliberation today, Horner was sentenced to death by lethal injection.
In a 108-90 Game 1 win, the @okcthunder bench outscored the Lakers 34-15 and provided a relentless level of energy and effort. Jared McCain, who sparked OKC with 12 points on 4 made 3s, stopped by after the win:
Jared McCain says he wants to get this photo framed. I asked him where he wants to put it:
“Maybe like right next to my TV in the living room. Or maybe right above my bed, so right when I wake up I can just look at that and it reminds me that this is where I’m supposed to be.”
Aren’t we all sick of seeing our president get shot at? Four times now and he doesn't back down. In fact, it's reported he's may go back to give his speech. How can you not respect this man for his tenacity to never cower among such evil?
Trump is who you want in your corner.
Erika Kirk was seen in tears backstage at the WHCA Dinner saying, “I just want to go home” during the active shooter incident.
After everything she’s already endured, this is heartbreaking. Please pray for her. 🙏🏾
Sending up an extra prayer tonight for President Trump and his family.
Lord,
Hold and protect our President and his family. Give wisdom to those guarding them. Make them alert, steady and discerning. Place a hedge of protection around them, keeping them from all harm.
Fill their home with peace, their hearts with courage and their minds with clarity. Let Your presence go before them and stand watch behind them.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.🙏🏼
🚨 WATCH: Absolute PANIC After Shots Fired at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner!
Attention CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and every other news media outlet that spews hate and propaganda:
This is on YOU. You have done this.
For years, you’ve called the President a fascist, a Nazi, and every other evil name imaginable. Your nonstop biased “reporting,” lies, and inflammatory rhetoric have poisoned this country and made it unsafe.
Now you’re getting a small taste of what President Trump and his family have had to endure every single day because of the hate you’ve spread.
Your words have consequences. Time to own them. 🇺🇸

This is awful.
Erika Kirk was seen running through backstage at the WHCA Dinner, in tears, saying "I just want to go home."
The amount this poor woman has endured these past seven months is horrible.
I'm sure this just brought all those emotions right back...
Pray for her.
I walked out right next to Jake Tapper & looked him in the eye. “How dare you? You’ve caused so much division in this country with your lies. I’m done calling it gaslighting — you’ve LIED to the American people.”
These reporters have spent a decade spreading absolute lies about President Trump.
They share some of the blame for what happened tonight.
As a mother, I’m exhausted by it. I couldn’t stay silent and walk out pretending someone like Jake Tapper is one of the good guys.
