Shame on you @SaketGokhale for taking a cheap shot at an 82-year-old theatre icon Anil Rastogi ji because of your political views.
Anil ji is one of the oldest active theatre and cinema actors in the country.
You are totally entitled to your political views but use them in the right context.
Reckless buckaneering is called “Bandar ke hath mein talvar”.
Proud to have acted alongside Anil ji in my next film, “The Last Batsman”. Such an honour.

Dhyanalinga is a Dwara or a Doorway to the Creation. In a very codified way, all the keys to everything that is worth knowing is hung in one place. If one is aware enough, they can pick it up and open whatever they want in the Existence. -Sg #DhyanalingaConsecrationDay
Neechabhanga Rajayoga — the cancellation of debility.
Most astrologers stop at "this planet is debilitated."
But my Guru taught me: debility is not destiny. There are 4 precise rules that can overturn it entirely.

Repost to help others learn
Everyone checks the 8th house.
Almost no one checks A8.
These are not the same thing — and confusing them is why most readings miss the pattern entirely.
🔁 Repost — someone you know is confusing these two right now.

The body is washed after death not for hygiene. Pouring water completes something. If even a little activity remains in the body, it will cease.

Sadhguru on washing the body - Chapter 7 of Death: An Inside Story:
In certain communities in India that still remember these things, the first thing done after death is to strip the body naked. The next thing is to wash it with water.
Most people assume this is for hygiene. It is not only that.
Sadhguru explains it with something you can feel for yourself. Even when you are alive, if someone pours water on your face, you feel like you are being waterboarded, like you are drowning. Water poured over the body has a powerful effect on the life process within it.
If there is even a little activity still happening in the body after death, washing it with water will cause that activity to cease. Running water has the ability to clear many aspects off the body.
So the purpose of washing is not just to clean. It is to facilitate the complete withdrawal of life from the body.
After washing, the body is again laid in a north-south alignment in an open space, kept naked, with just a single white cloth covering it.
Why white? The colour white reflects almost all light and most heat. These two, light and heat, can hasten the decomposition of the cells. And hastening decomposition is not advisable at this stage, because certain aspects of prana are still partially functional in the body. A black or coloured cloth would absorb light and heat, and should be avoided.
And why is the cloth there at all? Not for the dead body's sake. The body has nothing to cover and nothing to expose. The cloth is purely for the living, who have issues with seeing it otherwise.
These days, people have begun dressing up the body elaborately. Undertakers in the West do more make-up for a dead body than is done for Hollywood stars.
But in this culture, you go back the way you came.
Naked, as you were born.
A final, silent reminder to everyone watching that none of those things ever mattered.

Congratulations to @RudraVS Sir for well deserved Padmashri
Never forget: Had it not been for his refusal to sign on that crucial Home Ministry document despite being tortured, Saffron Terror Conspiracy of CONg would have become a reality
Thank you Sir
Everything that I know, my Guru knew, and the whole spiritual tradition knew, is in the Dhyanalinga in an energy form. I am just a consequence. #SadhguruQuotes
To the trolls who had a problem with the comfort food pic that I had posted:
पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति ।
तद् अहं भक्त्युपहृतम् अश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः ॥
"If one offers to Me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or even water, I delightfully partake of that item offered with love by My devotee in pure consciousness."
First study the shastras in all its forms and then come here back to troll. Also do daily Chandi path and complete one mandala of 12 years phir baat kar!
A heartbreaking reminder of a pain that still echoes through Kashmir
After 36 long years, an elderly Kashmiri Pandit woman returned to her ancestral home in Danew, Bogund, Kulgam.
She touched the soil she was forced to leave behind, kissed the old walnut tree standing silently in her courtyard, knelt before it in prayer, and broke down in tears. For a moment, time stood still. The tree had waited for her; the home had remembered her.
Some wounds never heal. Some separations never end.
And one cannot help but ask: where will those find peace who turned these innocent people into refugees in their own land, who tore them away from their homes, their memories, and their roots?
Give gaalis to ‘Gujaratis’ 24/7, but get your daughter married off at Jio convention center, curse Ambani-Adani 24/7, but invite both of them as honoured guests. Call RSS ‘communal’, but get your daughter married into a RSS family and invite Mohan Bhagwatji to bless the couple. Talk about ‘austerity’, and ‘farmers distress’ but spend crores at a wedding. It is great to be a politician in India today! You are not expected to walk the talk at all, and you can STILL play politics!
The discipline of classical art is built on the same principles that make any human being or organisation truly excel - total preparation, relentless practice and an alertness that becomes second nature.
