A friend shared this and it really got me thinking
1. In our teens, we spend max time with family & friends
2. In 30s and 40s, coworkers & children
3. mid-life, our life partner
4. Towards the end thereโs a sharp rise in time spent alone.
When u finally have money, assets - u r alone!
Dont ignore friends n family . That blue n green line should remain steady !!
There are 80% short term investors with weak mindset in market, and they have good wealth, there are only 20% long term investor with strong mindset and business understanding.
When you find a stock at X price, there are 80% short term investor with zero vision about future, these investors keep selling on any rise, since money with strong mindset long term investor is limited to only 20%, it takes time in a multi-bagger stock to completely replace the short term investors.
As the number of long term investors increases the share price appreciates and goes up as the number of sellers reduces, there is no role of short term investors in making any stock multibagger. Short term investors have the capability to bring share price down by profit booking and in panic selling, nothing more than this.
At the end of the day itโs just those 20% smart investors who decides the market trends. Remaining 80% have stories, stories like โyeah that stock i bought at 100 sold at 120, bought at 300 again sold at 350 now itโs 1200โ.

What is GCF?
Definition
Gross Capital Formation (GCF) refers to the total value of investment in fixed assets within an economy over a specific period.
It includes expenditures on physical assets such as machinery, equipment, infrastructure, buildings, and inventories that contribute to future production.
1. Historical Context of GCF in India
Peak GCF (2007-08): India's GCF was ~39% of GDP during the high-growth phase before the 2008 global financial crisis.
Current GCF (2024): It stands at ~32.1% of GDP, indicating that capital investment levels are still below previous highs.
Potential for Growth: If India follows its previous trajectory, GCF could rise to 37-39%, signaling peak investment activity before economic maturity.
2. Indiaโs Growth Potential vs. Mature Economies
Countries like China had GCF above 45% of GDP during their peak growth phase.
Developed economies like the US and EU usually have GCF below 25%, as their markets are already saturated.
India is still in the high-growth phase, meaning investment levels have room to grow before the economy peaks.
3. Investment-Driven Growth Ahead
Government spending on infrastructure (roads, railways, power, and manufacturing parks) will boost GCF.
Private sector Capex cycle revival (especially in manufacturing, digital economy, and renewable energy) can push investment levels higher.
PLI (Production-Linked Incentives) schemes and 'Make in India' drive are supporting domestic and foreign investments.
4. Market Implications
If GCF rises from 33% to ~37%, it suggests further investment cycles, corporate earnings expansion, and long-term market growth.
Stock market bull runs in India have historically coincided with rising GCF, as capital formation leads to higher productivity, GDP growth, and corporate profitability.
Conclusion
Indiaโs economy and stock market still have significant upside potential. With GCF at 33%, there is room for further expansion before the market reaches a long-term peak.
The next 4-5 years could see increasing capital investments driving GDP growth and stock market rallies before we approach a true investment saturation phase (~37-39% GCF).
When the sun shines, all gather around, when the storm comes, you stand alone. Weak times are the best to cross check who stands with you and who leaves you alone. The one who understands the worth and value of your hard earned money and treats it like his own should be valued.
