Before beginning any important work, I always touch the sacred soil of South 24 Parganas and seek the blessings of its people. It was from South 24 Parganas that the wheels of change began turning in 2008. And now, in 2026, it is South 24 Parganas that will set in motion the inevitable downfall of Bangla-Birodhi BJP.
Today, from Patharpratima, I take upon my shoulders the full responsibility for the holistic development of this region. Every need, every aspiration of the people here will be fulfilled once our Maa-Mati-Manush Government returns to power. But the people of Patharpratima have the responsibility to ensure a thunderous, resounding victory for our candidate Shri Samir Kumar Jana.
This election is about delivering a befitting, crushing response to BJP, to their conspiracies, to the suffering and humiliation they have inflicted on the people of Bengal. Let #BoycottBJP roar from every corner of Patharpratima.

Today, I was once again touched by the warmth and affection of the people of Jalpaiguri, who have always received me with such generosity of spirit. I was glad to spend time with local residents, engaging in meaningful interactions and sharing in moments of spontaneous cultural expression that reflect the rich ethos of our land. The people of Bengal remain closest to my heart. They are my greatest strength and inspiration.
I also had the opportunity to visit St. Lucy Church in Batabari, where I interacted with members of the community and the Fathers, and offered my prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of all. I pray to the Almighty to guide us, protect us from forces of division and discrimination, and keep us united as one family.
Today, the Modi–Shah duo lives under the illusion that they can win Bengal by unleashing central agencies.
Hon’ble Chairperson @MamataOfficial will ensure they are defeated time and time again.

রাজ্যের সকল ছাত্রছাত্রী, অভিভাবক, শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকাদের জানাই ‘স্টুডেন্টস ডে’ তথা আজ ‘স্টুডেন্টস উইক’-এর সূচনার আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও শুভেচ্ছা।
২০২২ সাল থেকে বছরের এই প্রথম দিনটিকে আমরা ‘স্টুডেন্টস ডে’ হিসেবে এবং বছরের প্রথম সপ্তাহকে ‘স্টুডেন্টস উইক’ হিসেবে পালন করছি । এইভাবে বছরের প্রথম সাতটি দিন আমরা আমাদের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জন্য উৎসর্গ করেছি। দেশগঠনে ছাত্রছাত্রীদের ভূমিকাকে সম্মান জানিয়েই আমরা এই সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি।
ছাত্রজীবন জীবনের অন্যতম সেরা সময়। আমি চাই সব ছাত্রছাত্রীরা যেন জীবনের এই অমূল্য সময়টাকে প্রাণ ভরে উপভোগ করতে পারে। তাই আমরা চালু করেছি বিভিন্ন স্কলারশিপ ও অন্যান্য সুযোগসুবিধা।
চালু করা হয়েছে ‘কন্যাশ্রী’, ‘সবুজ সাথী’, ‘ঐক্যশ্রী’ ও সংখ্যালঘু স্কলারশিপ, ‘শিক্ষাশ্রী’, ‘মেধাশ্রী’, ‘স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ মেরিট-কাম-মিন্স’, ‘তরুণের স্বপ্ন’, ‘স্টুডেন্ট ক্রেডিট কার্ড’, বিনামূল্যে স্কুলের বই, ড্রেস, জুতো, ব্যাগ যা এখন সারা দেশের মডেল। এই সব প্রকল্পে রাজ্যের ছাত্রছাত্রীরা সব মিলিয়ে ২৭.৪৬ কোটিরও বেশি বেনিফিট পেয়েছে। এর জন্য আমাদের রাজ্য সরকার খরচ করেছে প্রায় ৫৯,০০০ কোটি টাকা।
এর বাইরে রাজ্যে শিক্ষা পরিকাঠামো উন্নয়নে আমাদের সরকার খরচ করেছে ৬৯,০০০ কোটি টাকা। ২০১১ সালের পর থেকে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, মেডিক্যাল কলেজ, ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ, নার্সিং কলেজ, বি এড কলেজের মতো উচ্চশিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান তৈরি হয়েছে হাজারেরও বেশি। ৭ হাজারেরও বেশি নতুন স্কুল, ২ লক্ষেরও বেশি অতিরিক্ত শ্রেণীকক্ষ। রাজ্যে বহু বাংলা মাধ্যম স্কুলের পাশাপাশি ৩৮২টি সাঁওতালি মিডিয়াম স্কুল করা হয়েছে। ২০০টি রাজবংশী ও কামতাপুরী মিডিয়াম স্কুল হচ্ছে। এছাড়া, ৪ হাজারেরও বেশি ইংরেজি/ হিন্দি/ উর্দু/ নেপালি/ উড়িয়া/ তেলুগু মিডিয়াম স্কুল চলছে। সমস্ত স্কুলে পানীয় জল ও শৌচাগারের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। ১০০% স্কুলে মিড-ডে-মিল চালু করা হয়েছে।
এ সবের ফলে ২০২৩ সাল থেকে রাজ্যে প্রাথমিক ও উচ্চ প্রাথমিকে কোনো স্কুলছুটও নেই। এটা আমাদের বিরাট সাফল্য।
এর পাশাপাশি, ভবিষ্যতে ছাত্রছাত্রীদের ভালোর কথা ভেবে আমরা উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক স্তরে পাঠক্রমে যুগোপযোগী পরিবর্তন এনেছি। নতুন নতুন বিষয় যেমন Artificial Intelligent, Machine learning, Data Science ইত্যাদি অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। সেমিস্টারও চালু করা হয়েছে। স্নাতক স্তরে ভর্তি প্রক্রিয়াকে সরলীকরণের লক্ষ্যে Centralized Admission Portal চালু করেছি।
আমি গর্ব করে বলতে পারি, আমাদের মতো করে বাংলার ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কথা আগে কেউ কখনো ভাবে নি। আগামীদিনেও যেকোনো দরকারে আমি আমার ছাত্রছাত্রীদের পাশে থাকবো।

A Huge crowd had gathered, faces lit with joy, voices rising in excitement, all waiting to catch a glimpse of their beloved leader.
Along the roadways, hands rose in greeting, voices reached out, and hearts brimmed with unspoken emotion.

The inhumane, undemocratic, authoritarian, and utterly unrepentant BJP is systematically dismantling Bengal’s peace, harmony, and hard-won democratic fabric while strangling our constitutional right to vote. Today’s massive march from Jadavpur 8-B Bus Stand to Hazra Crossing, propelled by the spontaneous participation of the common people, signals that the collapse of this brazen autocracy is inevitable, and the defeat of BJP is certain.
A party submerged neck-deep in corruption, its turncoats and modern-day Mir Jafars grovelling at the feet of power, looting for themselves while inflicting endless harassment and suffering on Bengal’s people, now has the audacity to lecture us on honesty, integrity, and transparency? They have trampled the Constitution, mocked Bengal’s icons and intellectuals, crushed welfare schemes meant for the poor, terrorised citizens through the vindictive SIR process, and thrown innocent Bengalis into jail by misusing central agencies.
But the blessings, prayers, love, and faith of our Maa, Mati, Manush are with us. When they weaponise the ED to silence us, we will thwart their dream of capturing Bengal through unbreakable democratic resistance. When they peddle fear, we will stand with the people through the politics of humanity. When they sow chaos, we will respond with compassion. Whey spread hatred, we will rise with love, solidarity, and dignity.
On Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, we remember the visionary whose message of self-realisation and religious harmony continues to inspire the world.

I am deeply moved and genuinely heartened to learn that Sunali Khatun has given birth to a healthy baby boy at Rampurhat Medical College, Birbhum. This moment of joy feels even more profound against the backdrop of the injustice she was subjected to. In a shocking abuse of power, she was FALSELY BRANDED as a Bangladeshi and FORCIBLY DEPORTED TO BANGLADESH by the Delhi Police and the Union Government.
Her ordeal was a violation of dignity that no citizen, least of all a pregnant mother, should ever be forced to endure. Yet, through it all Sunali displayed extraordinary courage and resolve.
This is a triumph of humanity. Tomorrow, during my visit to Birbhum, I will personally meet Sunali at the hospital to convey my best wishes to her and her newborn. My prayers remain with her family.

সকলকে জানাই বিশ্ব খাদ্য দিবসের অনেক অনেক শুভেচ্ছা!
রাজ্যের সকল মানুষের খাদ্য নিরাপত্তা সুনিশ্চিত করা আমাদের সরকারের প্রাথমিক লক্ষ্য। আর এই লক্ষ্যে ২০১১ সালের পর আমরা অনেক যুগান্তকারী পদক্ষেপ করেছি। যেমন -
‘খাদ্যসাথী’ প্রকল্পে রাজ্যের প্রায় ৯ কোটি মানুষকে বিনামূল্যে রেশন দিচ্ছি আমরা।
এর মধ্যে প্রতি মাসে রাজ্যে ৭ কোটি ৫০ লক্ষ মানুষ "দুয়ারে রেশন" এর মাধ্যমে তাঁদের বাড়ির দোরগোড়ায় বিনামূল্যে রেশন পাচ্ছেন। অবশিষ্ট উপভোক্তারা নিজেদের পছন্দমতো রেশন দোকান থেকে খাদ্যশস্য সংগ্রহ করছেন।
জঙ্গল মহলের মানুষজন, আয়লা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত পরিবার, সিঙ্গুরের অনিচ্ছুক কৃষক পরিবার, টোটো জনজাতি এবং চা বাগানের শ্রমিক মিলিয়ে প্রায় ৫৪ লক্ষ মানুষকে বিশেষ প্যাকেজে বর্ধিত হারে খাদ্যশস্য প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।
দুর্গাপুজো, কালীপুজো, ছট পুজো এবং রমজান মাসে ও ঈদ উৎসব উপলক্ষে দরিদ্রতম পরিবারগুলিকে চিনি, ময়দা এবং ছোলা (কেবল রমজান মাসে) ভর্তুকি মূল্যে প্রদান করা হয়।
‘মা’ প্রকল্পে গরীব মানুষদের দুপুরের খাবার মাত্র ৫ টাকায় দেওয়া হচ্ছে। ৩৫৬টি ‘মা ক্যান্টিন’-এ ৮ কোটি ৫৮ লক্ষ দরিদ্র মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
খাদ্যসাথী প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে খাদ্য সুরক্ষা বজায় রাখার জন্য রাজ্যের ১৬ লক্ষ ৫০ হাজার কৃষকবন্ধুর কাছ থেকে চলতি বছরে রেকর্ড পরিমাণ ৫৬ লক্ষ ৩৩ হাজার মেট্রিক টন ধান রাজ্য সরকার সরাসরি কিনেছে। এর ফলে আমার কৃষকরাও তাঁদের ধানের ন্যায্য মূল্য পেয়েছেন যা সরাসরি তাঁদের ব্যাংক একাউন্টে জমা পরেছে।
রাজ্যজুড়ে ‘সুফল বাংলা’র ৭৪৫টি আউটলেট থেকে বাংলার মানুষ সব্জি, ফল বাজারদরের থেকে অনেক কমদামে পাচ্ছেন। এখন সুফল বাংলাতে মাছও সুলভে বিক্রি হচ্ছে। মানুষের সুবিধার্থে এই আউটলেট আরো অনেক বাড়ানো হচ্ছে।
সকল মানুষের খাদ্যের অধিকার বজায় রাখার জন্য আমাদের এই সার্বিক প্রচেষ্টা আগামীদিনেও একইভাবে অব্যাহত থাকবে।
