All indicators point to war in the next few days:

- Massive U.S. military build-up over the past 2 weeks (ongoing)

- Iranian and Israeli military drills (Israeli jets over Syria and Iraq, Iranian ballistic missile launches)

- Warning by Israel to Hezbollah not to join a war with Iran, threatening to hold Lebanon itself responsible

- Qatar just warned it's citizens to prep for the worst

- No progress in the negotiations, with multiple leaks by many outlets regarding imminent strikes

- Massive escalation by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz as Gulf countries try to get as much oil out as they can before a restart of hostilities

The only question is, who wants to escalate before the midterms: Iran to harm Trump politically, or Trump and Israel to give a bombing campaign another try?

If I had to guess: The U.S/Israel may have intel of a pre-emtive Iranian strike being planned, and may strike first to avoid Trump getting humiliated

Absolutely pathetic experience with @agoda and @FabHotels! 🤬

I booked a FabHotel through Agoda as a Platinum member, trusting their platform and exclusive discounts. The booking was for my senior citizen parents, who needed a month-long stay near a hospital for regular health checkups.

We arrived to discover the hotel had NO LIFT. My parents were expected to climb 3 floors! And there was NO clear mention of this in the listing.

The hotel receptionist told us Agoda would refund the money if we didn’t check in. We trusted them, cancelled the stay, and booked another property.

Now Agoda refuses a refund, claiming it’s against their policy, while FabHotels isn’t responding to Agoda either.

So here’s the issue: the service wasn’t used, a critical facility wasn’t disclosed, and the customer loses their money while both companies pass the buck?

I booked through @agoda . Why should I chase FabHotels myself? Isn’t it Agoda’s responsibility to resolve issues with its hotel partners?

If this is how Platinum customers are treated, what can anyone else expect?

Avoid this experience. Think twice before booking through these platforms.

@agoda @FabHotels please stop passing the buck, take accountability, and refund my money. This is unacceptable.

Deeply concerned by reports that Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka remain in custody, with no warrant shown and no access to lawyers or contact with their families. Abhijeet’s grandmother has passed away, yet he has reportedly not even been allowed a call home.

This is unacceptable. We demand their immediate release without further delay. Abhijeet must be allowed to be with his family at this time of grief.

JD Vance’s attack on Microsoft was deeply disingenuous, and Microsoft’s response exposes the fundamental flaw in his argument.

Vance compared layoffs with H-1B filings as though every visa petition represented an American worker being replaced.

Here is what Microsoft actually said:

“Of the approximately 6,000 H-1B visa applications we submitted in the last fiscal year, 80% percent were to extend or change the status of existing Microsoft employees. These were not to hire new people. The remaining filings for new employees were for individuals already legally in the United States who decided to come work for us, and they equal only 1% of our U.S. workforce. They are not new arrivals to our country.”

An extension is not a new hire. A visa transfer is not evidence of an American losing a job. And an H-1B petition is not proof of displacement.

If you want to investigate actual fraud, investigate it. If you want to protect American workers, protect them.

But don’t manipulate immigration statistics to manufacture a scandal.

America deserves an immigration debate grounded in facts, not political theater dressed up as arithmetic.
