@JosephFrankina3 @alicekeeler Have never had an issue, and every one of my students has fun with it. I assess on a case-by-case basis and take confidential health issues into consideration. Too much shady biz happening in RR's anymore and admin cracks down on T's for letting students out during class.

@JenniferCassini @alicekeeler Not looking to argue—just to share an idea. The beauty is you can take it or leave it, or, adapt it to your own preferences. There are plenty of ways I bend the rule in favor of students. Again, it’s done to establish a mindset, not to police the students. #done

@JenniferCassini @alicekeeler Our school issues a confidential list of health concerns, so all of those things are listed. I’m not strict to the point that I can’t make exceptions—it’s more about establishing a class wide mindset in my classroom and keeping kids out of the halls for needless reasons...

@alicekeeler Agree 110%...BUT...where would you rank sharing something like a course syllabus with a teacher new to the content but not the district who then proceeds to change your name to theirs on the doc, makes photocopies, and distributes to their class as if it were theirs? #reallife 🤦‍♂️
