The weather higher up was even worse and the knee deep snow has made it impossible for us to progress. We’re all extremely disappointed but in good spirits! We trekked for 6 hours today in the blazing sun before Marrakech beckons tomorrow.

So unfortunately the trek hasn’t gone to plan…nature decided Toubkal isn’t for us this time. Our team were battered by driving rain and gale force winds throughout yesterday but we all made it to safety of the refuge in one piece and extremely soggy!
