Hey folks. I want to share something I’ve been working on. It’s called The Heritage Apple Project.
For a long time this idea has sat in the back of my mind. I’d see half-forgotten apple trees along trails and old roads, next to stone walls and behind old barns, and I’d wonder what their story was. Unfortunately many of these old trees are fading away and being forgotten.
That’s what The Heritage Apple Project is all about. Through my company, Plantaera Biotech, we’re finding these trees, recording their stories, and working to preserve the genetics of the ones worth keeping for the future.
But I’m only one man. The project needs the people who still remember the trees and the stories attached to them.
If you know of one, or have a story about an old apple tree you remember, please consider sharing it at

This is a work in progress, we’re just getting started, and site content may change from day do day as the project evolves.
The Senate's institutional hollowness was exposed when Thune and Schumer pushed through a 3 AM vote to strip ICE funding with only 5 senators present.
I no longer take seriously any appeals to procedure or tradition. The rules are engineered to serve K Street, preserve lawmakers' comfort, and sideline the public they claim to represent.

I agree that there is absolutely nothing wrong with reposting the original content. My problem was with the way it was done. He didn’t just repost her content. He took the work that she had done, the whole thread, copied it, spent time changing a few of her words here and there, and added his “about me” section to the end of it and claimed it was his work. People who do that kind of thing lack integrity. And he is promoting a book. What honest author does that?
@ValentinaForUSA@elonmusk You’d think with all our tech we could find an easy way to bypass all the middle men and folks could send their donations directly to the people who need it. And it could all be on a public ledger for everyone to see.
@acontec94145245 We were in the garden for a bit today but it snowed earlier and everything is brown and muddy and the kids are much older now so it wasn’t quite as “magical” as when this pic was taken. But spring is in the air!
Most of my time on Twitter is spent keeping up with Iota and other tech so I wanted to switch it up a bit with a pic of my kids in our garden and to say that we all need to get outside more often. We should be connecting with the earth as much as we are with our devices.
@DerrickEvans4WV I think a lot of what they did is very cool and the technology is amazing. However, they aren’t actually dire wolves. There is a bit of misinformation. Here is a good video discussing the topic. https://t.co/boFyAnV5YW
