Ladies, I cannot re-emphasize this enough.
Be weird enough to reach for the stars as if they shine for you. And most importantly, to add audacity to your wardrobe - you'll need to wear it often.
A quick career hack that will save you hours, and protect you from unnecessary disappointment:
If you see a job post that ends with lines like:
- “DM me to get shortlisted.”
- “Comment YES / "some word" if you’re interested.”
- “Like this post and I’ll send you the job details.”
- “Share this to secure your spot.”
Please skip it.
Legitimate recruiters don’t shortlist candidates based on likes, comments, or DMs.
They follow structured processes, use proper application links, and require CVs, not emojis.
Most of these posts exist solely to boost engagement and farm impressions, not to hire anyone.
Real opportunities rarely come wrapped in gimmicks.
Your next career move shouldn’t depend on how many times you comment “Interested.”
I’ll always say this, not everyone is wired to run a business or be an entrepreneur. Some people just need a solid 9-5 to get their feet planted and keep their life from going off the rails, and that is perfectly fine.
My heart is heavy. A young girl suffered unthinkable pain at the hands of those meant to protect her and lost her life because of it. We can’t stay silent. We can’t continue to hide behind family titles and tradition. She deserves justice. Every child deserves safety. 💔 #Justiceforochanya
