Big props to @dirty_civ
@FatherAbr@DonShift3@VigilanteEng Putting peltor arm adapters to sordins was such a pain. It took me till like 3am and lots of swearing. C-clips are the devil
@p80ralph Man I donโt have anything on this, but my first car was an $800 del sol I got with 60k miles on it one owner. Makes me miss it and wish I didnโt sell it. Prices shot through the roof.
@DonShift3@HavocTwoOne During Hurricane Ian, I used mine to help a Coast Guard pilot identify me to help find someone who needed assistance.
Marine Channel 16 was the point of communication on a ham radio setup.
I really like the Nitecore models; they are easy to charge, durable, and decent runtime.
@WeaponOutfitter I also heard Remington hasnโt made a 870 in a hot minute. Not sure if itโs true or internet hubub, but there are plenty of old 870s/590s out there for the reaping.
Maverick 88s are back to $200 so that must mean nature is healing.
@WeaponOutfitter I feel like that they are more well known and โless scaryโ to common folk compared to a rifle is interesting to note.
Post-hurricane for FL and during the prep I also noted that handgun and rifle ammo is scarce, but 12ga is plentiful at every Walmart.
