The SAGE Award is not given for statistics, accolades, or athletic ability. It is presented to the player who best embodies what it means to be a SAGE - someone who leads with character, puts the team before themselves, elevates those around them, and helps shape the culture.

[Monticello Sages Softball @sages_softball]

Defense requires trust, consistency, and preparation. This athlete embraced those responsibilities from day one, showing poise beyond their years and making plays that helped our team succeed.

[Monticello Sages Softball @sages_softball]

Our Offensive Newcomer of the Year Award recognizes a player who made an immediate impact at the plate and quickly became a valuable part of our lineup.

[Monticello Sages Softball @sages_softball]

Being an ACE is about moret than strikeouts and statistics. It's about leadership, toughness, composure, and the willingess to carry the responsibility that comes with the ball in your hand.

This season's Ace of the Year is Cassidee Stoffel

[Monticello Sages Softball @sages_softball]

The Silver Slugger Award recognizes our hitters who finished the season batting over .400 - a remarkable accomplishment that reflects consistency, discipline, and relentless work at the plate.

All State Teams are released a day early.

You can find all four classes here:

This is not an easy task. Many Nominations. There are more teams in Class 1A and 2A, so their teams are larger.

[Robert Rosenthal @ALionEye]

I still remember the video of her reaction when Josh Whitman told her (in person) that she was selected to the Illini Hall Of Fame. This one feels like another “dream job” scenario. Love it.

[Greg Berge @GregBerge]

Rick Pitino is right.

Every player’s hourglass runs out faster than they think.

The practices. The games. The grind.

One day… it’s all gone.

Cherish every rep. Every moment. Every opportunity.

Don’t waste your sand. ⏳

[Monticello Sages Softball @sages_softball]

10 inning heartbreak.

Battled like always. So incredibly proud of our girls. Nobody could represent how hard sages would fight for one another more then this group. Always a lesson to be learned in loss, this one was how grateful we are to have had the opportunity to be sages.
