@TravelGoC@JustinTrudeau Does this imply to permanent residents landing for the first time? What are we supposed to do with the Airbnb stay which is already booked for quarentine purpose as per the previous rules? Need clarity!!! @RaquelDancho we need your voice
@Transport_gc@TravelGoC@JustinTrudeau We are exempt from travelling. We are issued with Authorization letters to travel which is valid only for 60 days and accordingly we made our bookings including a solid quarentine plan at a private stay And now we are expected to pay $2000 because its non-essential?Makes no sense
@robferguson1 Here is says "Canadian travellers returning from overseas". So is this implied to immigrants landing for the first time in Canada? @JustinTrudeau@CanadianPM
Our quarentine stay for 2 weeks is already booked and paid for as per the previous rules. Need Clarity!!
@TorontoStar What about people in transit? Are they expected to spend their layover time in testing rather than in immigration? @fordnation@JustinTrudeau
@Transport_gc@TravelGoC What exactly are these "very limited exceptions"?? Can u please elaborate soon. You see lot of us have many bookings made such as flights to destination cities and Airbnb for "14 day quarentine" purpose. We have the right to now atleast 5 days prior to our travel. We are newcomers
@Transport_gc@TravelGoC@JustinTrudeau If we have our connecting flight from Toronto to another destination city and if we are expected to quarentine for 3 days at a designated hotel then what happens to that flight booking that's been made? How do u expect us to fly to our destination city after 3 days? @AirCanada
@BobHast87393149@Transport_gc@TravelGoC@JustinTrudeau@AirCanada I don't think so.I just want to know if our flights will be rebooked after 3 days. how does it work? Is there any plan in place for this before making this rule mandatory? Govt needs to consider every aspect before putting such rules in place. We are given Authorization letters
@nkeung@JustinTrudeau@CanadianPM When is this effective from? And what if the travellers have already booked their private Airbnb stay for 2 weeks of quarentine by paying 2000cad which is non refundable at this point? Please give more clarity on this
