Wmphasised the urgent need for a comprehensive approach to safeguarding lakes especially the Surinsar–Mansar Twin Lakes, including effective desilting, protection of wildlife and biodiversity, addressing carp infestation, strengthening sewage management through adequate STPs, and ensuring the long-term ecological health of these invaluable natural assets.
