The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has decided to extend the specified date for filing various audit reports for the Previous Year 2024–25 (Assessment Year 2025–26), from 30th September 2025 to 31st October 2025, for assessees referred to in clause (a) of Explanation 2 to sub-section (1) of section 139 of the Act.

📢 KSCAA Writ Petition Update

Hon’ble High Court has ruled in favour of KSCAA. The Court has directed CBDT to extend the due date for Tax Audit by 30 days.

🙏 Special thanks to Designated Senior Counsel Adv. Vikram Huilgol and Adv. Sandeep Huilgol for agreeing to take up the matter at short notice, drafting the writ in a timely manner, and representing the Association effectively to secure this favourable order.

The @FinMinIndia should announce an extension in a day or two @PMOIndia @nsitharamanoffc, considering delay in ITR forms impacting available time for tax audits.
