Ghanaian-born former bodybuilding champion Eddie Abbew broke down in tears while showing his childhood home in Ghana, which he left in 1978 at the age of 15 after earning a scholarship to study in the UK.
He reflected on the hardships of life as the penultimate child among 10 siblings, growing up in a deprived community until his story appeared in the Save the Children magazine, which led to the scholarship opportunity.
