If auto unions can pressure the govt into banning bike taxis, why can't gig and part-time riders unite too?
Thousands rely on bike taxis for daily income — students, gig workers, unemployed youth.
It’s time they form a union, raise their voice and fight back.
This ban must go.
Bike taxis don’t just help us, they support gig riders and students who rely on them for daily income.
It's a lifeline, not a luxury.
Auto unions claim they’re losing business. But truth is Bike taxis serve areas autos often refuse to go.
It’s not competition, it’s coexistence
Autos are still in demand especially for longer, family or luggage rides.
Bengaluru auto fares are 30–50% higher than bike taxis for the same distance. Yet instead of enforcing mandatory meters, this govt is busy pleasing auto unions.
Why punish what actually helps commuters?
