WHY ARE YOU SLOW?
Isn’t it wrong to decide quickly? Musn’t one weight all the benefits and disadvantages of a particular decision, search for threats and only then announce the decision?
No. It’s a waste of time.
You want to do all that because you have gotten cheated or hurt in the past.
You have gotten punished or hurt in the past when the decision went wrong, and you’ve gotten punished or hurt when you changed your decisions.
So you want to avoid that pain and in avoiding that pain, you’ve become so slow.
Now you can’t learn fast and you’re stuck in analysis paralysis. And when life needs you to make quick decisions, you fail miserably.
But don't worry you can fix it.
Quick decisions are the essence of speed of course.
It’s like a muscle, the more you work it, the stronger it gets. Start saying yes to more things and no to more things, just don’t be in between. The quicker you get to yes or no the faster your speed at anything.
‘Maybe’ is the big brake lever of life.
Nature does not do maybes, have you noticed?
The seasons come decisively, the sun does no maybes to rise or set, the trees do not hesitate to bloom or to shed. They just seem to know whether it was yes or no. Dogs don’t think if their barks would offend people, they just bark. Birds don’t say 'maybe' to the decision of which branch to nest on. All around us nature is robustly decisive.
What is so terrible about deciding quickly, or changing your mind quickly?
Why fear that other people will reject you, instead, why not face the fact that you have not been of enough value in their life?
Then make decisions that help you develop yourself into a valuable person.
Nobody will have a problem with this.
You have to ask only one question and find only one answer to decide quickly.
“How will this decision lead to making me more valuable to others?”
What if the answer is that it won’t help you be more valuable to others but it will make you happy?
Well, how can you be happy not being of value to others, other people are the only source of joy for a human being.
You can get 'high' all by yourself, all you need is a pleasurable sensory stimulus or substance, but happiness comes only from other people’s love and acceptance. Don't confuse getting high with being happy.
And what about self-love doesn't that make you happy?
No. All self-love can do is make you stop beating yourself up, it stops self-abuse. That gives relief from self-abuse, but not happiness. Relief is not the same as happiness.
Maybe you have never associated decisions with happiness before. But it’s every human being's duty to make decisions that make him or her happy.
In some decisions, like what kind of coffee to have, there is not much value you can add to others so the question ‘how will this decision lead to making me more valuable to others?’ is irrelevant and any decision you take won’t increase or decrease your happiness. So should you have a mocha or a latte? If the mocha can give you more pleasure because of the chocolate or something, it’s totally ok to choose pleasure here.
But when you ask should you have a beer or not, be sure this pleasure will harm your liver and make you do stupid embarrassing things after the 6th beer, so you are reducing your value to others, so the answer should always be ‘no’ to a beer.

@rajender2669@korkantichander@KTRTRS Get your facts right, LPG falls under 5% GST (not vat) so it is equally divided between state and centre. This is a false claim which says state levies 55% , please check your sources
