Not taking Rio to the World Cup is such a shame. Going to be a superstar and giving him World Cup experience and ten minutes here and there would be so good
Liverpool FC can confirm Arne Slot is to depart his role as head coach with immediate effect and that the process to appoint a successor is under way.
He leaves with a Premier League title to his name and our deepest gratitude and appreciation.
Even after EVERYTHING guys like Carragher and some of the locals have said and done to Salah he still came out to fight for this club and defend this club.
They sold Kelleher and replaced him with this guy.
Sold Diaz and gave Gakpo £250k a week. What a joke.
Sold Quansah knowing that Konate was playing hardball on signing a new contract. He played crap all season.
Gave Salah a £400k a week 2 year contract in the summer, then agreed to let him leave on a free 9 months later.
We sent Elliott out on loan and left him stranded on 9 appearances due to some silly clause we insisted on.
Wasted a year of his development.
Paid astronomical sums for Isak and Wirtz. Very un-Liverpool like.
34 year old Virgil has played 5000 minutes and we wonder why he is knackered and the defence is leaking goals.
Szoboslai has played around 50 full 90 minute games I read. That is over reliance on one player.
Now they are playing not to get injured ahead of the world cup.
@LFC have decimated Klopps' squad, his high press, high energy style of football is all gone. The conditioning of the players is nowhere near the level required. Standards have fallen off a cliff.
The manager has shown zero accountability. The buck must stop with him.
We need Chelsea/Real Madrid-like ruthlessness and remove Arne, remove Hughes and his team for wasting so much money. The decision making at executive level has been diabolical.

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
