I also genuinely value the Kenyan government's steadfast support and policy leadership, whose reform agenda keeps enabling public institutions to have a significant impact on our people.

This morning, I had the distinct honour of accompanying the outgoing @NLC_Kenya Chairperson, Gershom Otachi, and the Commissioners as we formally handed over the Second Commission's Exit Report to His Excellency President Dr. @WilliamsRuto at State Lodge in Kitui County. It was a significant moment, marking the conclusion of this Commission's term and the transfer of our work to the nation's leadership.

During the handover, we presented several critical policy documents and research findings that we have diligently prepared. Among the most pivotal is Kenya's first-ever Natural Resource Atlas, alongside our research on the effects of land fragmentation on food security. We also submitted the National Land Policy Recommendations handbook on investigation guideline, and our 2024/2025 annual report, all intended to provide a clear path for improving land governance in the country.

His Excellency, the President graciously acknowledged the substantial work accomplished by the outgoing Commission. He noted that many complex land issues, including the crucial matter of land tenure security, had been addressed smoothly under the current commission. I am deeply thankful for the President's unwavering support to the commission, and I want to assure him and the public that we are committed to carrying this legacy forward with the next commission.

The National Land Commission (NLC) has played a vital role in safeguarding public land and shaping fair policies. Since it was created under the 2010 Constitution, the NLC has resolved long-standing disputes and, as a result, tens of thousands of Kenyans have been settled and received land ownership documents.

Received the exit report from the outgoing commissioners, who I thanked them for their exemplary service to the nation. I wish them success in their future endeavours. Commissioners who are exiting include Chairperson Gershom Otachi, Vice-Chairperson Gertrude Nduku Nguku, Prof James Tuitoek, and Kazungu Kambi.

Others are Commissioners Hubbie Hussein Al-Haji, Alister Murimi Mutugi and Reginald Okumu.

Present was Lands Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome.

HOW DO THE DEAD REALIZE THEY ARE DEAD?

Innalillahi wa Innailaihi Rajiun!!!

The dead person does not realize that he died at the beginning. He feels himself dreaming of death, he sees himself crying, bathing, knotting himself, and going down to the grave.

He always has the impression of dreaming when he is piled up on the ground. He then screams but no one hears his scream.

Later, when everyone is dispersed and left alone underground, Allah restores his soul. He opens his eyes and wakes up from his "bad dream". At first, he is happy and grateful that what he was going through was just a nightmare, and now he is awake from his sleep. Then he begins to touch his body, which has just been wrapped in a cloth, questioning it with surprise;

"Where's my shirt, where are my underwear?"

Then he continues: "Where am I, where is this place, why the smell of dirt and mud everywhere, what am I doing here?"

Then he begins to realize that he is underground, and what he is experiencing is not a dream! Yes, he realized he was dead.*

He shouts as loudly as possible, and calls: his relatives who, according to him, could save him:

"Abdulrazaq... !!!!"
"Yusuf.... !!!!"
"Abdullahi .... !!!!"
"Khadijah .... !!!!"
"Aisha .... !!!!"
"Uthman .... !!!!"
"Adam....!!!!"
No one answers him. He then remembers that Allah is the only hope right now. He weeps for Him and implores Him while asking His forgiveness;
"Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Forgive me, Yaa Allah...!!!

He screams in an incredible fear that he had never felt before, during his lifetime.

If he is a good person, two angels with smiling faces will sit him down to comfort him, and then do him the best service.

If he is a bad person, two angels will increase his fear and torture him according to his ugly acts.

Oh Allah, forgive my sins and the sins of my mother, father, wife, children, and all my family and friends.

Brothers and sisters in Islam, you have two options here:

1. Let this little knowledge only be read here and nothing happens.

2. Turn a new leaf and return to our God by asking forgiveness and doing good deeds

Ya Allah, don't take our life until we are at our best and ready to meet you. Aamin.🤲🏾
