Some work colleagues are in a torrid debate over the correct spelling of motor neurone disease versus motor neuron disease? Opinions greatly appreciated. @mndassoc@mndresearch#neurotwitter#MedTwitter
@drkeithsiau@donk_d @djbtips In Australia, the terms PNES is no longer used a lot, the term “functional seizures” is favoured. (Neurology medical typist here).
@drkeithsiau
Hi Dr Siau! I came across your account a while ago and I have learnt so much from you and your colleagues! I am a medical typist and your brilliant case studies have already helped me when hearing of a new diagnosis for the first time. Thank you for everything!
@7NewsToowoomba@risa_utama Such an agonising death this poor baby endured. As the parent of a child with type 1 diabetes, I shudder to think about what this poor child went through in her last days.
@lindy2350 PS - One doctor asked to speak to him alone and asked him if he had been looking symptoms up on the internet in order to get attention from Mum. I am still scarred from him asking me in the car park, ''You believe me, don't you Mum?''
@lindy2350 My then 7-year-old son with pain so severe in his feet & legs was told by many paeds that he had 'growing pains'. It took a yr after emailing doctors with a special interest in paed pain and pushing my way into clinics for his pain to be taken seriously. Btw - he had CRPS.
@Steve_11_11 Oh Steve! The last thing you need! Here's to a very speedy recovery. There is an incredible Aussie doctor @SandhyaRamanat1 on Twitter who made this video that might be helpful for you:

@stkildagurl Absolutely! Can you imagine the cocktails and dancing after the last cycle of your chemo? This is just a small pause while your body heals and recovers, you will be back to your best very soon. <3
If you’re an Australian Janet/Michael Jackson fan please do not watch the #JanetJacksonDoc on @StanAustralia. They have manipulated the footage to cut out the scene where Janet defends her brother, and remembers fond memories with him.
@applehdsupreme@StanAustralia WTF @StanAustralia!! As a huge fan, I am so disappointed and angry that I have been deceived - I wouldn't expect any less though. Have already cancelled my subscription.
