I say let me remind you, that as at 30th June 2026, the Nisāb for Zakāt is estimated at ₦15,359,500.00.
What does that mean?
Nisab is the minimum amount of wealth a Muslim must own continuously for one lunar (Hijri) year before Zakat becomes obligatory. In this case, based on the current value of 85 grams of gold and the prevailing exchange rate, anyone whose total Zakatable assets—such as cash, savings, gold, silver, business inventory, investments, and money owed to them (after deducting eligible debts)—equal or exceed ₦15,359,500 is required to pay Zakat. The amount of Zakat due is 2.5% (one-fortieth) of the qualifying wealth, not the entire ₦15.36 million. For example, if your net Zakatable wealth is exactly ₦15,359,500, your Zakat would be about ₦383,988 (2.5%), provided you have held that level of wealth for a full Hijri year.
Fear Allãh and give out your Zakāt.
In June 2011 I applied to the Shell Graduate Programme online.
Three weeks later: thank you for applying, after a careful review of...
Rejected.
So I kept knocking. I applied to around 700 jobs in total.
Three months after that rejection I was at a conference filled with recruiters from the oil majors. Shell people were in that room. They could not believe the online portal had rejected me.
That is how I got into Shell.
The portal was never the company. Remember that when a form tells you no.
All the Spanish players posted their pics with Messi but Merino realized he didn't have a single one so he posted that clip of Messi shooting the ball right into his face. LMAO this is the funniest shit ever

In 1970, four Lagos officials travelled to Sweden and paid £68,000 for 98 used buses to serve as city buses in central Lagos.
Four months later, the deal became a media scandal in Sweden after reports revealed that the buses were already 17 years old and had been marked for demolition because they were no longer considered roadworthy.
The Swedish State Commission for Traffic Safety said there were no spare parts available to restore them. Yet, by the time of the report, 30 of the buses had been retouched and were ready for shipment to Nigeria.
New Nigerian newspaper observed: "One wonders how buses unsuitable for Stockholm roads can be used in Lagos."
