@nixcraft All answers exaggerated. Windows works just fine, wsl2, hyper-v and powershell and you're on. Unless you a distro hopper or a hipster unixnporn, there is no big deal. Perhaps higher cpu usage or stupid indexer but advantages are so many more, gpu performance, more software, etc..

@nixcraft FOSS firmware is important, having a laptop that doesnt have a linux capable webcam, horrible touchpad acceleration or an nvidia hybrid gpu that will eat all battery life forced me to stay on windows
