Assassin's Creed Black Flag: Resynced | Hands-On Impressions & New Gameplay

▪️'Maintains the spirit of the original while also feeling new'
▪️Graphics are a "night and day improvement" over the original
▪️Much more foliage density and NPC crowds make the world feel more alive
▪️Steers clear from the RPG elements found in later AC games
▪️Dedicated crouch and jump buttons are a welcome addition
▪️"This might be the smoothest parkour has ever felt in an Assassin’s Creed game"
▪️Edward unlocks the Ropedart gadget much earlier in the game
▪️Auto-fail stealth missions have been completely reworked, can now attack at will even when tailing and keep the quest going
▪️Parry comes in handy, makes combat feel more fluid/faster (some previewers did not like parrying)
▪️Multiple enemies attack at once instead of each waiting their turn
▪️If you spam the same attack, enemies become more defensive
▪️Ship combat is seemingly unchanged for the most part in a good way
▪️Present-day Abstergo arc is no longer in the game
▪️Many new quests added, included whole story sections for Black Beard, Adéwalé, Stede Bonnet, and more
▪️There are also all-new characters with quests to recruit for your ship
▪️Exploring the ocean is now more seamless, not interrupted by loading
▪️Can dive anywhere, many locations fully redesigned, new locations in some cities
▪️The preview build had some bugs/tech issues in its current state
▪️Outside of Edward and the main cast, some NPC facial details/animations were less life-like, needed some improvement
