Not sure where I read/heard this (I think What a Cartoon by @TalkSimpsonsPod but I can't remember) but it doesn't correlate in my brain how you can be a fan of something without internalising the messaging.
I am getting to my point... Moaning about Doctor Who casting a more diverse cast doesn't seem like something the Doctor would do or say. Have you even been watching the same show?
Like if you hold contradictory viewpoints to the main protagonist, why are you a fan of Batman? If it's the flash car and money you've missed the point.
