Year 5 enjoyed putting their plant knowledge into practice, today. We carefully dissected different parts of the flower, to get a real feel for how plants work! 🌺

Year 6 have enjoyed investigating structures today as part of their DT. Their final challenge was to use their skills and knowledge to build the tallest tower using spaghetti strands and marshmallows.

Year 3/4 really enjoyed using the theme of Valentines Day to create a handprint to tell someone in our class 5 things we loved about them.

Year 6 enjoyed their first gymnastics session this afternoon. They focused on creating a short routine, working in unison with a partner and incorporating counter balances.

5S carried out their own interactive history investigation today. Using QR codes, they worked in pairs to piece together clues and answer questions about the Battle of Trafalgar 🕵️‍♂️

Inspired by the message of Racial Justice Sunday yesterday, in Year 6, we spent time in prayer, asking God to help us become instruments of peace in our own community. May we always fight for justice for all races, cultures and ethnicities.

Year 6A enjoyed debating the issues raised in the novel, ‘Pig Heart Boy’ by Malorie Blackman. To make their case stronger, they attempted to find a counter argument.
