In time honoured tradition, the joy of Christmas and the re-telling of the birth of Christ was ushered in with an evening of song and worship at the Boys’ School Carol Service last night.

At the end of the year, the Middle College students spend their final two weeks taking part in a series of activities designed to help them to step out of their comfort zone, engage in learning, work in teams and serve others. #SaintKentigern

With the Year 8 boys’ time at the Boys’ School drawing to a close, parents, staff, and invited guests gathered to reflect back on the boys' last eight years of friendship and learning, before they move on to the next stage of their education.

This week the Year 3 Boys arrived at school, not only with their school bags, but also sleeping bags and PJs for a night away from home!

Congratulations to Levonah Motulik and Tiana Gray from the Girls’ School who made it into the New Zealand Touch Rep Team.

The 2019 trip ‘down the mountain’ marked the 50th anniversary since Field Centre first took place in 1970!

Our Year 10 students faced the physical challenges of tramping, rafting and camping in difficult terrain!

Our Year 13 students gathered for one last time for the Graduation Chapel and Dinner, to mark the end of their time at Saint Kentigern, as they prepare to move on to life beyond the College gates.

Congratulations to Girls’ School students, Emily Cornaga and Sofia Ellis who achieved great results at the Remuera Zone Athletics this week.
Sofia placed first in the Year 5 Ball Throw, with a distance of 23.9m and Emily placed second in the Year 6 100m and 60m track events.

The clock was ticking, students were sweating and the crowd was cheering as the Year 7 and 8 Boys’ School mathex students competed in the House Mathex Competition yesterday. Congratulations to Chalmers House who were named the Senior School Champions.

The Parnell Holy Trinity Cathedral was filled with joy last night as guests of the Girls’ School and Preschool gathered for the annual Carol Service. This year’s theme was ‘Joy’ - the importance of spreading joy and cherishing joyful moments.

Congratulations to Girls’ School students, Zambezi Butler and Golden Lawton Hines, who were selected to read their poems, ‘Magic’ (Zambezi) and ‘Home’ (Golden) at this year’s New Zealand Poetry Society Anthology - The Perfect Weight of Blankets at Night.
