More LEOs die from suicide than in the line of duty, so there’s a lot more going on here than just asymmetrical violence.

Cops should be paid a LOT more than they are and they should be trained much more thoroughly. I don’t find any comfort knowing that I could become a LEO in less than a third of the time it would take me to get my cosmetology license.
