Few know that “government” is derived from “God over men”. God is the force behind each individual in its quest for spiritual development - the reason of our existence. Mankind needs a huge heavenly government and a limited earthly government with constitutional freedoms.
@clement_molin You are in the Ukraine Hotel. I’ve been in the Maidan Palace Hotel across the street. Enjoy your time and speak to locals as much as you can.
@mj_cotton@NavyLookout@DanielA84612544@kon_marine That’s indeed the million dollar question. The Dutch MoD will release their B-letter/B-brief in the fall of 2026 or spring 2027 with the specs of the ship. Sources from within mention the flight deck could be higher up to accommodate a modest hangar above the well deck
@Gabriel64869839 That’s plausible. The 160 meter and 15000 displacement are merely indicators and the Dutch MoD is cautious sharing the final specs (as it takes them 2 years already) as so many factors need to be taken into account. The final design is expected in the fall of 2026 or spring 2027.
@Gabriel64869839 We, in the Netherlands, have questions regarding the specs of the ATS as well, especially the hangar deck. Some within the inner circle do suggest a higher flight deck to have a hangar above the well deck like any other LHD - and also how much of a through deck it will be.
@TightToffee The Dutch think it’s the way to go - dispersed amphibious landings across various littoral access points supported by all types of UxVs. Both can be true in the sense I would expect the UK to at least have 6-8 of them. Check Maritime Uncrewed Toekomstvisie (Dutch maritime vision)
@ForcesNews Stop using the Damen Enforcer design. The Netherlands is all in on a flattop and a through deck. That’s what the UK signed up to as well with an entirely different philosophy than the LPDs and auxiliaries the UK had before.
