@TheHistoryOfTh2 Not sure it would be much different if we hadn’t decapitated the leadership. They all share the same ideology. The decapitation had military value. But there was also probably a hope that the next in line wouldn’t want the same fate.

@TheHistoryOfTh2 I understand the sentiment. But Presidents have been kicking the “Iran thing” down the road forever. Iran really was building a missile infrastructure to insulate itself from any attacks. Next step nuclear weapon. Not sure people realize just how destabilizing that is.

@TheHistoryOfTh2 TBH I’m mostly paying attention to his foreign policy. And in that arena, I have to say that on balance his actions have been relatively consistent and logical as opposed to his rhetoric. The last few weeks of seemingly endless negotiations with Iran have been perplexing though.
